As stewards of tax payer money, the city council has a sacred responsibility to make carefully thought-out decisions that will safeguard the financial security of our city. We need to operate within our budget, cut unnecessary spending, and prioritize needs over wants. If elected, I will support a fiscally responsible allocation of resources and encourage a detailed, easy-to-understand, transparent accounting of spending to the public.
